The Latin American Chlor-Alkali and Derivatives Industry Association (Clorosur) held, on Thursday, November 15, its XI International Technical Seminar at the Quinta Real Hotel in Monterrey, Mexico. Back-to-back with the safety seminar, the WCC Global Safety Team (GST) also hosted a Safety Workshop on Friday, November 16. In parallel to the Technical Seminar and the Safety Workshop a Table-Top Expo was held with exhibition from technology suppliers, materials and equipment manufacturers and service providers. In addition to the technical sessions and exhibitions, participants had the opportunity to visit Iquisa NORESTE / Cydsa, a modern chlor-alkali plant, inaugurated in 2016 and located in the Garcia, Nuevo Leon industrial complex. A total of 125 participants from 17 different countries from around the world attended the program. All expressed satisfaction with the informative technical sessions and the hospitality of the plant visit. The social activities were highly appreciated as well.
